Southside is a census subdistrict (CSD) in Saint Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. CSD borders Charlotte Amalie from Havensight to the west, Nordside - and Tutu subdistrict to the north, and eastern end of the district to the east. The US census of 2010 showed a population of 5,411 people, a decrease of 56 people compared to the US Census of 2000 of 5,467. Some communities here include Havensight, Bellevue, Raphune, Hoffman, Bolongo, and Bovoni.

Hotels and resorts in the region face a tranquil Caribbean Sea compared to the Atlantic Ocean on the North side. The sea and the weather tend to remain quieter in this region compared to the northern part of Saint Thomas. Beachfront hotels and resorts in the region include Marriott Frenchman's Reef, Bluebeard's Beach Club, and Bolongo Bay Beach Resort.

The months of January and February are the coldest here, when the night temperatum can reach the 60s, while it is more common with the winter temperatures of the 70s and the summer temperatures in the 80s in the region.

Some of the popular beaches here include Limetree Beach (Bluebeard's Beach), Morningstar Beach and Beach at Bolongo Bay.

Popular Southside restaurants include Iggies Beach Bar, in Bolongo Bay.
