Visa exclusion
Citizens of the following 107 countries and passports issuing jurisdiction do not require a visa to enter the Dominican Republic for 60 days or 90 days:
1 - for UK citizens only British passport holders and passports of eligible English citizens abroad.
2 - no need to pay travel costs.
Since January 1, 2018 visitors to the Dominican Republic are no longer obliged to buy tourist cards because these fees are now incorporated into plane tickets.
Visa exclusions also apply to residents and valid visa holders as well as refugees and stateless persons with travel documents Canada, the United States and the European Union.
Holders of diplomatic passports or services issued to citizens of Mexico or Switzerland, diplomatic, official or passport services issued to citizens of Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel , Japan, Morocco, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, South Korea, Ukraine, Uruguay, the Vatican and Vietnam, diplomatic or official passports of Taiwan and diplomatic or official passports issued to Paraguayan nationals do not require a visa.
The visa exemption agreement for a diplomatic passport was signed with Spain but has not yet been ratified.
Visas are not required for citizens of any country born in the Dominican Republic according to their travel documents.
