Venetian Court is a seaside resort located in Capitola, California. The construction of the Venetian Palace, in the Mediterranean Revival, Spanish Colonial Revival, and Mission Revival architectural style, began in 1924 and continued for several years.
On April 2, 1987, Venetian Court was listed as a 87000574 site at the National Register of Historic Places as one of California's first condominium beach developments, and is in the United States Historical District.
Two rows of colorful units closest to the beach, as shown in the picture below, are privately owned condos (many of which are available as vacation rentals by the owners). The large brown building in the back row (closest to the road) is now operated as the "Capitola Venetian Hotel".
