Palms Casino Resort is a hotel and casino located near the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It has 703 rooms and suites and contains 94,840Ã, sqÃ, ft (8,811Ã, m 2 ) casinos, recording studios, Michelin starred restaurants and 2,500 concert concert theaters.
Although located outside the Strip, this resort has become a popular destination for many, especially young people, Hollywood actors and celebrities. The Palms competes for market share with Hard Rock Hotel & amp; Casinos, other offshore resorts devoted to demographics 21-39. Both of these resorts are styled in a modern and neo-retro style.
The Fantasy Tower is also home to several nightlife spots including Moon Nightclub and The View. The tower stores what is known as Sky Villas and Fantasy Suites, which are some of the most expensive hotel suites in the world. The Two Story Sky Villa upstairs, billed on US $ 40,000 per night, is listed at number 5 at World's 15 Most Expensive Hotels Suites compiled by CNN Go in March 2012. The Sky Villas has hosted many celebrities.

History
The Palms project was first developed by the Maloof family in July 1999, during the expansion of the Fiesta-casino hotel. The casino resort broke out in July 2000. The project was officially announced by George Maloof on October 24, 2000. Construction was completed on September 26, 2001.
The Palms opened on November 15, 2001, to a large crowd of people. Some celebrities attend the opening, such as Dennis Rodman, Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton, and Samuel L. Jackson.
In 2002, it was the resort where the participants of MTV's The Real World: Las Vegas live. Their levels are rebuilt to accommodate MTV now "Real World Suite" billed at $ 10,000 per night.
On October 27, 2005, the second tower, named "Fantasy Towers", opened at a cost of $ 600 million. In keeping with George Maloof's basketball interests (Maloofs is the majority owner of the Kings Sacramento NBA), the Fantasy Tower includes a two-story suite, 10,000 sq ft (930 m 2 ) which includes the only basketball court in the hotel suite. This suite includes a dressing room, scoreboard, and multi-screen entertainment system. Some of the other fantasy rooms include the G suite, the Barbie suite, and the King Pin suite.
The Palms encountered financial problems in 2010, when it began to lose loan payments. Based on the agreement reached with TPG Capital and Leonard Green & amp; Partners, they each received a 49% stake in the property in November 2011, in lieu to remove about $ 400 million in debt. The Maloof family maintained a 2% stake, with an option to repurchase up to 20%, and George Maloof continued to manage the property.
In May 2016, Station Casinos agreed to purchase Palms for $ 313 million.

UFC holds most of the Final Fighter Ultimate at the Palms, but at TUF Season 14, Finales as it is now held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center or the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with coaches usually fighting as the main event.

- In Nitro Circus episode 3 season 1 Crew members jump from the building while another member has a tattoo set selected by the roulette wheel.

- The Palms hosted the Midsummer Night Dream Party, which is an annual event held at the Palms Casino Resort once a year in August. The show is also held at the Playboy Mansion.

Palms Place
Maloof announced a third tower called Palms Place , a high-rise housing built on the western end of the Palms property. The architect of the design is Jerde Partnership Construction. Citizens were allowed to move on 29 February 2008, with the opening on May 31, 2008. In June 2014, Phil Maloof enrolled the upstairs penthouse at Palms Place for $ 38 million, making it the home of one of the most expensive apartments in Las Vegas.
