Hilton Cardiff is a Hilton hotel located in the center of Cardiff City, the capital of Wales. Located south of Cardiff City Hall, and overlooking Cardiff Castle.

History
The original steel-framed structure was built in 1947 as the regional headquarters of the Prudential Assurance Company, faced with a Portland stone. After the company moved to a new place in 1994, it was put up for sale, until the lease was purchased by the Hilton Hotel in 1997. Involving architect Powell Dobson, many of the original rock façade of a slightly squatted building maintained, providing 197 bedrooms with two extensions floors that overshadows the Presidential Suite and Executive Lounge. The external and internal focal points are provided with topped-out by the glass roof atrium, providing access to the city's largest ballroom. The new hotel opened in 1999.

Described by one reviewer as "luxury hotel in Cardiff", as a four star hotel the hotel is higher in the city by St David's Hotel & Spa, the first five-star hotel in all of Wales. Served by the restaurant Gray , as it is located close to the Royal Stadium, has hosted several sports teams playing there, including New Zealand All Blacks in 2007.
