Dress up beautifully in Ancient Campbell tartan jackets, they are very popular during their professional careers. They released several Albums, EPs, Singles, and Cassettes for both Beltona/Decca and Lismor Recording Companies.

Careers

They are undoubtedly the most traveled and hardest-working band in their era, and play across England for the Performances and Dances from Lewis to London. Places include village hall, hotel and theater. Key points of the two-week English-language tour include a reception that separates the ears at The Royal Albert Hall and The Festival Hall in London.

The next visit was one year later in 1974, again with Calum Kennedy, as well as Helen MacArthur (Soprano) and Colin also playing alongside The Cape Breton Fiddlers. The third and final visit was in 1975 and joined Colin on this trip was, Alasdair Gillies, Robin Hall, and Jimmie Macgregor.

During the eighties and nineties, Colin left on tour with the band to concentrate on playing in local hotels and restaurants, such as McTavish's Kitchens and The Park Hotel in Oban, entertaining the summer tourists and locals.
