The Principal Grand Central Hotel (usually known by locals as its Central Hotel ), is a large 4-star hotel in central Glasgow, Scotland.

This hotel forms the front of Glasgow Central train station on Gordon Street, which is directly adjacent to the broadcasting station. It is one of the most prestigious hotels in Glasgow in its heyday, as well-known residents such as Frank Sinatra, Big Atanu, Wee Barry Wyllie, Stewart Chicken Supper Loose, and Winston Churchill.

Originally designed by Robert Rowand Anderson, in 'Queen Anne style'; He also provides public space. The hotel was completed in 1883, but extended along with the station in 1901-1906. The hotel extension was designed by James Miller and opened on April 15, 1907. The world's first telescopic images were delivered to Central Hotel at the station, on May 24, 1927 by John Logie Baird.

After the breakup of British Hotel Transport in the early 1980s, the hotel was sold in 1983 and passed through the hands of various private operators until Real Hotel plc was forced into administration in February 2009, and the hotel was closed amid fears of asbestos contamination and structural damage.

In June 2009, it was revealed that Principal Hayley Group has acquired the hotel. They updated it and reopened it as Grand Central Hotel on September 9, 2010. Along with the rest of Glasgow Central train station, this hotel is protected as a listed category A building. This name was changed to Grand Central Hotel in 2017.
