Tur studio pertama
From the beginning, Universal has offered tours to his studio. After Carl Laemmle opened the Universal City on March 14, 1915, he would then invite the general public to see all the acts with a registration fee of just five cents, which also included a lunch box with chicken. There are also opportunities to buy fresh products, since then Universal City is still part of a work field. The original tour was discontinued in about 1930, due to the appearance of the sound film coming to Universal.
Backlot fires
Universal Studios Hollywood's back lot has been damaged by fire nine times throughout its history. The first was in 1932 when the embers of a nearby brush fire were blown towards the back causing many four sets of film to be destroyed and generating over $ 100,000 damage. Seventeen years later, in 1949, another brush fire caused a total destruction of one building and damage to two other buildings. In 1957, a street movie studio in New York was destroyed by an arson fire that caused half a million dollars damage. Ten years later, in 1967, twice as much damage occurred when the Little Europe region and part of Spartacus Square was destroyed. It also destroys the European street set, Denver and Laramie. In 1987, the remaining part of Spartacus Square was destroyed along with other road and building sets. Like the 1957 fire, this was supposedly the result of an arsonist. Just three years later, another deliberate fire started at the back. Set New York Street, Hur Hur's set and the majority of Courthouse Square destroyed. In 1997, the seventh fire broke out on the back. Some Courthouse Courts were again destroyed, although most survived.
The most damage was done on June 1, 2008 when three fire alarms occurred behind many Universal Studios. Fire begins when a worker uses a welding torch to warm the asphalt shingles applied to the facade. The Los Angeles County Fire Department has reported that Brownstone Street, New York Street, New England Street, King Kong attractions, some of the structures that make up Courthouse Courts, and Video Vault have burned (not to be confused with the actual Vault Movie, Video Vault contains duplicates of the movies). The aerial tape captures the Courthouse building that survived the fire for the third time in its history, with only its slightly charred western side. More than 516 firefighters from various local fire departments, as well as two helicopters dropping water, have responded to the fire. Fourteen firefighters and three Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies suffered minor injuries. The fire was extinguished after twelve hours, during which time the firefighters faced low water pressure.
Destroyed are 40,000 to 50,000 archived video and archived digital movies recorded on the history of Universal movies and TV shows, dating back to the 1920s, including Knocked Up and Atonement movies. , NBC series Legal & amp; Message , Office , and Miami Vice , and CBS I Love Lucy . Universal President Ron Meyer stated that nothing irreplaceable disappears, which means everything can be rebuilt again for a minimum price of $ 50 million. Unfortunately, while this may be true of the archive of video material, the fire also destroyed a large archive of analog audio master audio irreplaceable by Universal Music, including all Decca master from 1930s to 1950s and most of the original chess master. which included artists such as Otis Redding, Howlin 'Wolf, and Muddy Waters. A few days after the fire, it was reported that King Kong's attraction would not be rebuilt and would eventually be replaced by a new attraction that has not yet been announced. In August 2008, Universal changed its position and announced plans to rebuild King Kong attractions, basing new attractions on the 2005 film adaptation.
Park history
Shortly after Music Corporation of America took over Universal Pictures in 1962, the accountant suggested a new tour in the studio commissioner would increase profits. On July 15, 1964, a modern tour was set up to include a series of changing locker rooms, peeking at actual production, and then, staging the event. It grew over the years into a full amusement park. The narrow tram tour (formerly "Glamor Trams") still runs through the studio's active backlot, but staged shows, demonstrations of action and high-tech rides overshadow film production that once enticed fans to Universal Studios Hollywood.
In 1965, War Lord Tower opened as one of the first attractions in the playground. One of the early struggles for Universal is to produce things that children should do. Ma & amp; small existing; Pa Kettle Petting Zoo is extended to the Ark Park. This area includes Mt. Ararat observes a zoo with over 200 animals and birds representing 30 species and Nuhl's Nursery and a Noah Love House Playhouse house for children and animals. This was followed by the opening of the Animal Actor School Stage in 1970. In 1968, the Screen Actors Guild imposed a rule prohibiting visitors from most of the sound stage. This new rule is coupled with more production being picked up in locations that mean the backlot tram tour can not show many visitors on the actual movie and television production road. Jay Stein, President of the Recreation Division championed the idea of ââcreating an exciting experience for visitors at the venue to see the actual production. Later in the same year, the Flash Flood setting was opened and the first special effects show proved to be a hit. 20,000 gallons of water rushed 200 feet down a narrow Mexican village street, pulled out an old tree and threatened to swallow a tram. The farewell of the Red Sea attractions opened in 1973. In 1974, Rockslide's staged show was added to the Studio Tour. The following year the Land of Thousand Faces opens at the Upper Lot. In 1979, the Battle of Galactica replaced Rockslide as a staged event at the Studio Tour.
The Flintstones show opens, replacing the Star Trek Adventure. In 1991, E.T. The adventure opens as the first "dark ride" in the park, the industrial term for attractions that use the ride vehicle to carry passengers through the indoor show hall. Around the same time, Universal Studios Florida Park's sister opened, which has an ET, similar. attractiveness. The Florida version is more than a conventional theme park and paves the way for Hollywood park evolution. In 1993, Back to the Future: Ride opened, replacing the Battle of Galactica. In 1996, Jurassic Park: The Ride opened. In 1997, two performances were replaced: The Land Before Time Show replaced Rocky and Bullwinkle Live; and Totally Nickelodeon replaced the Flintstones Show. Only one year after it was opened, the Land Before Time Show was replaced with Coke Soak. In 1999, T2 3-D: Battle Across Time and Chicken Run Walk through opened in the top lot. In addition, Beetlejuice's Rock and Roll Graveyard Revue is closed.
In 2000, Rugrats Magic Adventure replaced Totally Nickelodeon. In 2001, the Nickelodeon Explosion Zone opened. Also in 2001, Animal Planet Live replaced the School Stage of the Actors. In 2003, Universal Studios Hollywood closed E.T. The adventure to make way for Revenge of the Mummy, which opened in 2004. The following year, Fear Factor Live replaced Spider-Man Rocks. In 2007, Universal House of Horrors opened, replacing Van Helsing: Fortress Dracula. Second Back to the Future: The Ride and Lucy: A Tribute closed, replaced in 2008 by The Simpsons Ride and Universal Story Museum respectively. Also in 2008, the Nickelodeon Explosion Zone re-branded to Adventures of Curious George. In 2009, the Creature of the Black Lagoon: The Musical replaces the Fear Factor of Staying in the Upper Lot.
In 2010, the Special Effect Stage and return draft attractions were closed to make way for Transformers: The Ride, announced in 2008 (Special Effect Stage was transferred to the former Tomb of The Black Lagoon and reopened as a Special Effect Stage). King Kong 360 3-D was also opened. On May 24, 2012, Transformers: The Ride opens at the Bottom Lot. On December 31, 2012, Universal Studios Hollywood closes T2 3-D: Battle across Time to Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, an attraction at Universal Studios Florida, which opens on April 12, 2014.

Butterfat's 5,600 Flavors Ice Cream Parlor for flushing icons like Moe's Tavern and Duff's Brewery." Opened on March 28, 2015.

The following year, the area is called "Super Nintendo World", and it is confirmed that it will come to Universal Studios Japan in 2020 as well as Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood later.
