Santa Fe is the 4th city municipal income township in Bantayan Island in the Philippine province of Cebu. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 28,603. In the 2016 voters list, there are 16,929 registered voters.
The municipality occupies the southeastern part of Bantayan Island (lined with the Bantayan municipality), along with the Guintacan (or Kinatarkan) islands, Hilantagaan and Hilantagaan Diot. Since the main island and ferry ports are both located within the municipality, Santa Fe is considered the gateway to Bantayan and its islands.

Demographics
In the 2016 voters list, it has 16,929 registered voters, which means that 59% of the population aged 18 and over.
Economy
Although there are some small-scale industries, the main source of urban revenues is fishing and agriculture, and from the tourists who come in large numbers, especially during Holy Week, to enjoy the very fine white sand and the un-solid beach.
Transportation
Bantayan Airport, serving all of Bantayan Island, is located in Santa Fe, although there are no scheduled flights. The city can also be reached by ferry from Hagnaya Wharf in San Remigio, Cebu.
