The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel is located on the shores of beautiful Spenard Lake, a mile from Anchorage International Airport and four miles from downtown Anchorage. The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel is operated as part of the Millennium & amp; Copthorne Hotels Network. It has 248 guest rooms.
It was opened in 1986 and is known as the Regal of Alaska until 2001.
Since it opened it has become the operational headquarters of the Iditarod Dog Sled Race Competition.
