NÃÆ'§n?] ) or 1860 Munich , is a Munich-based German sports club. After the 2016-17 season, the club's football team relegated from the 2. Bundesliga to Bayern Regionalliga at the end of the 2016/2017 season, the Stadion an der GrÃÆ'¼nwalder StraÃÆ'Ÿe once again became home to 1860 Munich.

Histori

Asal muasal klub

The root of TSV's establishment as a physical fitness and physical fitness association returned to a meeting held July 15, 1848 at a local pub, Buttlesche Brauerei zum Bayerischen LÃÆ'¶wen. It was a revolutionary revolutionary period because of the Revolution of 1848, and the club was banned in 1849 by the Bavarian monarchy for "republican activity". The club was officially rebuilt on May 17, 1860 and after mergers with a number of other local associations in 1862 known as Turnverein MÃÆ'¼nchen . A football department was founded on March 6, 1899 and played his first match against another team three years later.

1900-1945

In 1911, the team adopted a lion who was familiar with their emblem and in 1919 renamed TSV MÃÆ'¼nchen 1860 . In the mid-1920s, they played competitive football in the country's top leagues, such as Bayern Bezirksliga, making a national semi-final appearance in 1927. Die LÃÆ'¶wen was challenged for the championship in 1931 but dropped the decision 2-3 for Hertha BSC. Two years later, they made another semi-final appearance which they lost to Schalke 04 on their way to becoming the dominant side in German football throughout the 1930s and 1940s.

In 1933, German football was reorganized under the Third Reich into the top 16 divisions known as Gauligen. TSV joined Bayern Gauliga where they got second place finished in 1934, 1938 and 1939 before finally catching the division championship in 1941. Their next play-off appearance sees them finish second in their pool for finalists Rapid Wien. The next season they failed to advance to the national play-offs, but continued to get their first major award by beating Schalke 04 to capture the Tschammerpokal , known today as the DFB-Pokal. TSV returned to the national play-off again in 1943, progressing to the quarterfinals.

Post-war

After World War II, 1860 played on top of the Oberliga SÃÆ'¼d flight as mid-table standings, suffering relegation for three years in the mid-1950s. However, they delivered the most important time in 1963 by winning the league championship and with it entered automatically into the new professional league of Germany, the Bundesliga, ahead of Bayern Munich rivals, who had to wait two seasons for their inaugural debut since the German Football Association ( DFB) does not want two teams from the same city in the new league. 1860 continued to perform well through the mid-1960s: they captured their second DFB-Pokal in 1964, playing the 1965 European Cup Winners' Cup final against West Ham United - losing 0-2. In 1966, they came as Bundesliga champions and qualified for the 1966-67 European Cup, but lost 2-3 on aggregate against Real Madrid in the second round. On June 3, 1967, they finished as runners-up in the Bundesliga.

The 1970s, 1980s and 1990s

The show was followed by a bad show in three consecutive seasons which caused degradation in 1970 to Regionalliga SÃÆ'¼d (II). It took 1860 seven years to make their way back to the first division, through a three-match play-off match with Arminia Bielefeld, only to be brought down shortly. One year later they returned, this time to stay two years, then in 1982 they were relegated once again and then forced into the III tier Amateur Oberliga Bayern when financial problems caused the club to be denied a license.

The club's exile from the Bundesliga will last for a dozen years. They were promoted onto the top flight in 1994, but found themselves in immediate danger sent back again. President Karl-Heinz Wildmoser and manager Werner Lorant, however, made some clever purchases including striker Olaf Bodden, winger Harald Cerny, playmaker Peter Nowak and defensive raiders Miroslav Stevi ?, Jens Jeremies and Manfred Schwabl. Stars like Abedi Pele, Thomas HÃÆ'¤ÃÆ'Ÿler and Davor? Uker played for the year 1860 when their careers subsided, became the audience favorite and made an important contribution.

2000s

Under the stubborn and dictatorial leadership of Wildmoser and Lorant, a combination of proven veterans and young talents helps the club avoid degradation and become a viable midfield. 1860 took fourth place in the Bundesliga in 2000 and into the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, where they face Leeds United. The 3-1 aggregate defeat, however, saw them play in the UEFA Cup that season, progressing to the third round where they were knocked out by Parma. The club, however, were unable to build on this success and after some mediocre performances by the team, Lorant's manager was fired.

After a decade in the top division, 1860 burned in the 2003-04 season with a 17th place finish that returned the club to the 2nd Bundesliga. Wildmoser made a controversial decision to groundshare with hated rivals Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, a move that angered fans and led to allegations of selling out. The downfall occurred when he and his son Karl-Heinz Wildmoser Jr. caught in a bribery scandal surrounding a contract award procedure for building a stadium.

In addition to being relegated to the Regionalliga SÃÆ'¼d (III) in the 2005-06 season, 1860 suffered severe financial difficulties. Bayern Munich stadium partners bought a 50% stake in TSV at Allianz Arena in late April 2006 for EUR11 million, giving the club immediate financial assistance. Following this step, the DFB was satisfied with the club's financial health and issued 1860 licenses to play in the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2006-07 season. [1]

TSV hired several new managers during the 2nd period of the Bundesliga. The first is Rudi Bommer, followed by Reiner Maurer, Walter Schachner, Marco Kurz, and Uwe Wolf. Also, former German national team player Stefan Reuter as general manager. None of the new managers, however, can lead the squad back to the top Bundesliga. Ewald Lienen coached the team from 13 May 2009 until the end of the 2009-10 season.

2010-present

Reiner Maurer was hired as manager in 1860 at the start of the 2010-11 season.

1860 approached bankruptcy for the second time in five years in 2011 when it took EUR8 million to survive. Help was offered to the club by local rivals Bayern Munich, to disgust supporters of each club, as Bayern had to lose EUR50 million in future stadium leases if the club failed to fulfill its lease obligations until 2025. Finally, the club was rescued by Jordanian investor Hasan Abdullah Ismaik, which, for EUR18 million, bought 60% of the club's professional club operating company, 1860 GmbH & amp; Co KGaA '. But the voting rights are limited to 49% due to rules governing German football, which are based around clubs led by members and not entrepreneurship. H. I. Squared International, a company controlled by Ismaik, took over the marketing of the club from IMG.

The 2014-15 season sees the club finishing 16th in the Bundesliga. It was forced to participate in a relegation play-off against Holstein Kiel where he defended the league spot with a 2-1 home win after a 0-0 draw in the first leg. 1860 survived an injury-time goal by defender Kai BÃÆ'¼low in front of 57,000 spectators in Munich.

In 2016-17, the team finished in 16th place in 2. Bundesliga after a 1-2 defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim in the final game of the season. They each play 1-1 and 0-2 in the following relegation play-offs against Jahn Regensburg and are therefore officially relegated. Managing Director Ian Ayre and President Peter Cassalette resigned from their posts the following day. On June 2, 2017, it was announced that 1860 could not obtain a 3rd license. The league for the 2017-18 season was as a result of investor Hassan Ismaik's reluctance to pay the required fees. As a result, the club was relegated to the Bayern Regionalliga for the 2017-18 season.

Backup team

TSV 1860 MÃÆ'¼nchen II, or, before 2005, TSV 1860 MÃÆ'¼nchen Amateure, historically quite successful at the Bavarian level.

Eleven eleven fought during the club's years outside of professional football, but bounced back after the club's revival in the early 1990s and returned to Bayernliga in 1996, winning the title in his first season there and promotion to third-tier Regionalliga SÃÆ'¼d. The team was relegated to Bayernliga in 2001, and returned to Regionalliga SÃÆ'¼d in 2004. TSV 1860 MÃÆ'¼nchen II missed out on League 3. qualifying in the 2007-08 season, and again in the 2012-13 season when winning the new form the Bayern Regionalliga but lost from SV Elversberg in the promotion round. As the first team were relegated to the Bayern Regionalliga for the 2017-18 season, the reserve teams were relegated to the fifth Bayernliga SÃÆ'¼d.

This club is the only one in Bavaria that has won Bayernliga with first and second team. Ground

Through the 2016-17 season, 1860 Munich play their home game at the Allianz Arena, which they share with city rivals Bayern Munich. The lighting of the skin color of the arena turns to 1860 blue when the team is playing. The club's premier game at the Allianz Arena is a friendly against 1. FC NÃÆ'¼rnberg on 30 May 2005. The stadium hosts the opening match of the 2006 World Cup between Germany and Costa Rica and three other first-round matches, 16 matches between Germany and Sweden, and semifinal between France and Portugal.

The club previously had facilities with Bayern Munich but sold 50% of its shares on April 28, 2006 to help resolve a serious financial crisis that saw TSV facing bankruptcy. On July 12, 2017, Bayern Munich announced the termination of lease agreement 1860 Munich for Allianz Arena. 1860 Munich will return to their previous lands for the 2017-2018 season.

Initially TSV was played at Stadion an der GrÃÆ'¼nwalderstraÃÆ'Ÿe (commonly known as Sechzgerstadion , meaning "Stadium 60er"). Built in 1911, they also shared with Bayern Munich between 1925 and 1972. The two clubs then moved to the new Olympiastadion built for the 1972 Olympics. TSV returned to the old ground several times since 1972, with years between 1982 and 1995 being the longest period. In the 2004 season "TSV" spent the last year at Sechzger when Allianz was prepared. TSV 1860 MÃÆ'¼nchen has not been able to meet the standard capacity of Allianz Arena and return to their old stadium, Grønwalder Stadium.
