Slanchev Bryag (Bulgarian: ????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? span>) is a large coastal resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, located about 35 km (22 miles) north of Burgas in the municipality of Nessebar, Burgas Province.

Sunny Beach has a very small permanent population, but during the summer the resort is home to thousands of tourists. The main strip of the hotel high back to the beach is 5 km (3 mi) long and stretches along the wide bay between Sveti Vlas and Nessebar.
History
The construction of this resort began in Communist times, in 1958. Construction work began at a site where there were two old wells supplying Nessebar with water in ancient times and during the Middle Ages.
