Matthew "Megatoad" Kai Stonie (born May 24, 1992) is an American competitive eater and is the third most competitive eater in Major League Eating. Stonie won 2015 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, taking off 1337 defending champion Joey Chestnut, but lost the title in 2016.

Biography
Stonie was born on May 24, 1992, in San Francisco, California. He is of Japanese descent, Czechoslovakia, and Lithuania. He studied at Highgreen Valley High School in San Jose, California. Matt's Major League Eat debut was at Stockton Deep Fried Asparagus Championship in Stockton, California in 2011. He is currently the youngest member of the Premiership Eating organization. His first victory came in 1999 in a roll lobster meal contest in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire. His nickname, "Megatoad," comes from the Toad character of the Super Mario Bros. video game. She has gained fame from her YouTube channel, where she uploads many food challenges.

Stonie uploaded his first YouTube video on August 27, 2012, where he drank one gallon of Gatorade in 0.5 seconds. The most popular videos have been known by famous celebrities such as Bam Margera, Waka Flocka Flame, and Cheech & amp; Chong, who has featured a video on their website. Until June 2018, he has over 5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. On September 24, 2015, Stonie uploaded a video in which he consumed 25 McDonald's Big Mac sandwiches in 22 minutes, which is an unofficial world record among the YouTube community. Starting April 2018, YouTube's most watched video Stonie has over 23 million views.
Nathan Hot Dog
On July 4, 2015, Stonie beat 8-time Nathan Hot Dog Eating Contest champion Jacky by eating 62 hot dogs to Chestnut's 60. On July 4, 2016, Stonie came second to champion Joey Chestnut at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, eating 53 hot dog to Chestnut's 70. On July 4, 2017, Stonie came in third, eating 48 hot dogs just behind 60 Carmen Pedicot eaten dogs and 10-time champion Joey Chestnut, with 72 hotdogs eaten.

Personal life
She graduated from Evergreen Valley High School. She attends Mission College in Santa Clara, California, majoring in nutrition, and plans to become a dietitian. It weighs 130 pounds (59 kg) and is 5 feet tall ft 8 deep (1.73 m).
Stonie has a younger brother named Morgan Stonie, often appearing on his YouTube video.
